ONE INITIATIVES Q3 FY2022

With changing cargo demands across global markets and an early lunar new year speed bump, the last calendar quarter of 2022 witnessed much weaker cargo demand when compared with the same quarter in 2021. At ONE, we continue to press ahead in our network developments and sustainability measures, enhancing our digital services and improving our operation excellence with our acquisition of 3 container terminals in the US West Coast. ONE Launches 3 New Southeast Asia to Australia Services

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce that we will launch 3 new Southeast Asia to Australia Services. These services will be a direct replacement of our existing services in order to improve service reliability. ONE will continue to deploy our vessels on the services, which are expected to start from early March, subject to regulatory approvals.

NOTICE OF SURCHARGE UPDATE - COMPENSATION FOR BREACH OF AGREEMENT (CBA)

ONE’s Maputo/Mombasa India Middle East (MIM) service upgrades to weekly service frequency

Ocean Network Express To Acquire Three Container Terminals On The West Coast Of The United States

Ocean Network Express (“ONE”) has signed definitive agreements to acquire a 51% stake in each of TraPac LLC (“TraPac”) and Yusen Terminals LLC (“YTI”), currently held by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha respectively. TraPac is a container terminal operator and vessel stevedore that provides container terminal services in Los Angeles and Oakland. YTI is a container terminal operator and vessel stevedore that provides container terminal services in Los Angeles.

BANNED USE OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE IN FOOD PRODUCTION PROCESSES IN JORDAN

Jordan Food & Drug Administration (JFDA) have recently announced new regulations related to the import of Titanium Dioxide or food items that contain Titanium Dioxide. These decisions have been made based on a study conducted by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Titanium Dioxide is an additive (E171) that is not considered safe for use in the food industry.

The following decisions announced by JFDA will be applicable effective 1st January 2023.

• Ban importing Titanium Dioxide or any food items containing Titanium Dioxide and JFDA will cancel all previously issued permits allowing the import of Titanium Dioxide.
• Ban the use of Titanium Dioxide in any food production processes in Jordan.
• Suspend the registration of special-use food items and food supplements for
athletes that contains this substance.
